Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers a mix of positive and negative experiences. The rooms, while featuring a very comfy bed, were placed in a not so appealing location looking into a dirty alley. The service was friendly, though there were some letdowns like the squeaky bed and the outdated hair dryer from the 70s that could use an upgrade. The dining experience had its highlights with various beef dishes but fell short of expectations in terms of being a full English breakfast. Despite the remote location, the hotel provides good value for what one needs especially for a car trip around the area.
The hotel can accommodate several coach loads of people at any one time. The rooms were spacious and clean, although serving the entire dining room pretty much alone leaves room for improvement. If you're on a budget and have transport, this might be the hotel for you.
The hotel rooms were spacious and clean, but the lack of fresh air due to small windows and limited electrical outlets made it feel stuffy. The need for an update was evident. The breakfast was satisfying but could improve. Friendly service with room service and housekeeping available. The location, while remote, is great for exploring by car. Dining had a nice variety but some dishes were rewarmed. Overall, value for money was decent.
